About Me
Hi! My name is Stephanie Gamache and my journey from teacher to teacher librarian is a unique one. My time as an educator started in a math classroom, teaching algebra at Servite High School. My love of educational technologies lead to a return to the classroom as a student in order to receive my MA in Educational Technology and Media Leadership from CSULB in 2014. Soon after I changed careers, leaving the classroom for the library, becoming the Librarian and Educational Technology Specialist for Servite. This new position resulted in another return to being the student to receive an Advanced Credential in Teacher Librarian Services in 2016.
In the 10 years I spent with Servite I grew far more than I ever imagined. I discovered my true passion as not just an educator of students but as an ally to administrators and teachers. In 2018 I began a new job as the Digital Media & Library Specialist for the Laguna Beach Unified School District, and I couldn't be more excited for what the future holds. This job challenges me in a new ways while also allowing me to finally use ALL my skills. I look forward to continuing to grow both professionally and personally.
