Reflections
- Infographic: Through the use of this infographic I am able to inform parents, staff, and educators about how much computer technology usage has changed in the course of just about 10 years. By creating this infographic I have learned the importance of making what can be difficult concepts into easier bits of information. There are so many educational technology infographics available today so sometimes searching for one would be easier than creating one. However, I never found an infographic covering my topic and so I felt it was a great topic for creating one. I know of many administrators and educators who could benefit from the information provided on my infographic which is why I chose the topic in the first place.
- Scratch Tutorial: This tutorial was created as an assignment for anther course. By creating this screen-cast I not only learned but practiced some of the larger components to the Scratch interface. Scratch is a wonderful program that both students and teachers can use to create one of kind games, interactive lessons, or just little videos. By creating this screen-cast I may have assisted in the introduction of this fun site to other educators who can then utilize it in their course. What I did not cover in the screen-cast is readily available on Scratch, as they have a wide variety of written out and video tutorials.
